Next generation of heart biopsy

Microcardix is developing a novel heart biopsy technique to enable the precision medicine revolution in cardiovascular medicine. More flexible and less traumatic than conventional devices, designed for modern molecular analysis techniques.

Learn about our technology

Our Technology

Microcardix is an endovascular microcatheter-based device designed for harvesting minimal tissue samples of the heart and organs near major vessels, such as the lungs, liver, and kidneys.

In the heart, the device has a favorable safety profile compared to conventional devices, due to its small size and mechanism of action.

Patent pending.
